Vantha is a the principle owner of Extendlife, Inc. She invested her life savings in purchasing major stock in the company in 1997 and has guided the corporation to the success it presently enjoys. Vantha is the epitome of a day-to-day ”hands-on” executive. She is a proud American citizen born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. One of her proudest achievements is being selected an Ambassador for the International Business Council of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce. She considers directing Extendlife a life’s dream come true.

“Wild” Bill Carter has a varied background of business experience, government service, with an extensive history as an educator and an entertainer. He served as a police officer with the City of Chattanooga, rising to the rank of detective. He also enlisted as a firefighter/EMT with the Chattanooga Fire Department attaining 21 years of service. Additionally, Bill entered the field of higher education, working his way to Department Chair for a prestigious private college in Orlando, FL.

Jeff is a Critical Care Paramedic, S.W.A.T. Team Medic, Georgia P.O.S.T. Certified Instructor, Tactical Combat Critical Care Instructor, member of Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, and is certified to instruct Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advance Life Support for the American Heart Association. He also is a certified National Safety Council and American Health & Safety Institute Emergency Medical Responder (First Responder) instructor.

Wayne Young is a 25-year veteran Fire Fighter and a seasoned Paramedic. His real passion, however, is teaching. He is a dedicated educator, particularly in the field of Emergency Medical Services. He has years of experience in teaching an wide range of basic community courses up to college level paramedic classes. His specialty is teaching the advanced level of disciplines. Wayne has an extensive resume and owns and operates Peerless Emergency Response Training, an affiliate partner of Extendlife Training Systems.
Dale L. Fulghum, Paramedic, AAS

Dale Fulghum is a former career U.S. Army Special Forces Medic (18D2F) who served 3 tours in Iraq and 1 tour in Afghanistan. He was awarded 2 Purple Hearts and The Bronze Star Medal for injuries sustained during combat operations which resulted in early retirement after 15 years of service. He endured nearly two years of physical rehab at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dale then transitioned from military to civilian service as a highly skilled paramedic. His passion is EMS and instructing basic and advanced skills in the emergency medical field. For his service to the nation and his dedication to the medical profession, Extendlife is privileged and honored to have Dale on our team.
STAN CHAMBERS, RN

Stan is an experienced emergency department Registered Nurse and has a reputation throughout the region as an exemplary medical educator. He is a former Extendlife Instructor of the Year and is skilled in all three AHA disciplines; BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Stan possesses a unique style of training that has earned him rave reviews by not only his students, but his peers as well. His enthusiastic approach to the subject matter and engaging presentation places Stan in a class of his own. Stan also serves on our Executive Board.
ALLEN T. SHERWOOD, MD. FAACP

Dr. Sherwood has served as Extendlife’s Medical Director for nearly a decade and is responsible for medical oversight of our Advanced Life Support courses. He has 22 years experience as a physician and is affiliated with Erlanger East Family Medicine. He is also associated with the University of Tennessee Family Medical Practice. He served as a USAF Flight Surgeon at Barksdale AFB during his military career. Not only is Dr. Sherwood an excellent practicing physician, but derives great satisfaction as a “teaching” medical practitioner.
JAMES H. CREEL, JR., MD, FACEP

Dr. Jim Creel is widely known in the field of emergency medicine and Extendlife is privileged to have him serve as our special Consulting Medical Director. He serves as Vice Chief of Staff at Erlanger Health System, Program Director of Emergency Medicine – University of Tennessee College of Medicine and is certified as a Diplomat, American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Creel also serves as the Medical Director for Hamilton County Tennessee EMS.
